Have you built your own rabbit hutch?

If human need shelter so does animal. Thats why rabbit caretaker need to provide rabbit hutch for his/her rabbit. Has anyone built their own rabbit hutch? How bout the flooring type? It is feces type or tray type?

If you are building a hutch using feces type, I would suggest buying 1/2" by 1/2" wire on the bottom of the cage. It is small enough as to where the rabbit won't be as likely to get sore hocks, but big enough for the poops to fall through.

On the sides of the cage use 1" by 2" wire. If you use the smaller wire on the sides it will harder and more annoying to see through. Plus it is easier to hang water bottles on.
